Llanforda & Brogyntyn Shoot
Llanforda is a privately owned historic estate. Situated in the Welsh borders close to the market town of Oswestry in Shropshire, Llanforda is a traditional agricultural estate in an idyllic setting, offering extensive sporting opportunities.
The focal point of the Estate is the spectacular park with its wonderful trees, former boating lake and walled garden, all located in a commanding position with stunning far-reaching views across the Shropshire plain. The Estate extends to 1400 acres, with shooting rights which extend over 3,500 acres, and includes a range of dairy, arable and stock farms, together with ancient woodlands.
Llanforda is being re-established as a traditional country estate and, wherever possible, the aim is to restore the Estate’s links to its past. Llanforda had a proud reputation as a well-known shoot in the past and the facilities have been upgraded offering Guns an opportunity to enjoy some fine shooting again.
The bag for a team of Guns can be varied from 100 to 250 pheasants per day according to the time of the season. The drives will be a mixture of woodland and cover crops to ensure a top-quality standard of shooting.
